Switching from a Mach 5 to a Safety Razor is like going from a ‘94 Mazda Protege to a Lamborghini Aventador. It’s gonna take some practice and a steep learning curve to get a close shave.

I just realized that by going to Jackie Robinson Night, that two weeks into the 2013 baseball season I’ve managed to see all the California teams play:
April 2nd: SF Giants vs LA Dodgers
April 10th: Oakland A’s vs Anaheim Angels
April 15th: SD Padres vs LA Dodgers.

There’s a simple trick to finding out if a number is a multiple of 9. Add all of the numbers up individually, until you get to a single digit answer.
For instance, 6,395,373:
6+3+9+5+3+7+3=363+6=9
If that single digit = 9, it is divisible by 9.
6,395,373 / 9 = 710,597

also note that each number divisible by nine in the picture above has the first row of numbers increase by one in descending order…and the second row has the digit decrease by one in descending order. they’re inverses.
0-91-82-73-6

ALSO:
When you are asked to multiply something like, 9x8, you subtract 1 from the lowest number and then the 2nd digit has to be whatever helps it add up to 9. For example:
9x8
8-1 = 7
7+2 = 9, therefore 9x8=72.
Example 2:
9x3
3-1=2
2+7 = 9 therefore 9x3=27
Make sense?
